I know the feeling Robert. I do a daily check on my seed box and two have sprouted this morning.

First harvest this year! Bumper crop! Exclamation Exclamation

Today I made two different salsas, I have a batch fermenting for braai sauce, some drying which I will mill to make pepper shake. The good news is that the bushes have flowers on again for another batch! Razz

Thanks Mars, These chillis are not strong like nuclear waste but have enough bite to make grub tasty without overpowering everything. Too hot for my wife though so this is ALL MINE! Evil or Very Mad Wink

Mine went in a bit late and are still green. I should be able to harvest before the cold hits - I hope.

Good looking peppers.
The round ones appear very similar to a variety sold here called "Peruvian Cherries" and the ones on the ristra are very similar to cayennes.
We are in midsummer here and the peppers are still going, it is about time to plant the fall tomatoes which should get ripe about the first of October.
I am concentrating on smoked link sausage and cured and smoked ribs and shoulders.
